Aeval and Artio

And updated version of an old drawing. The bear bothered me, and the background looked... special.

Aeval, one of the Goddess characters from my novel, "As the Red Moon Rises". The bear is Artio, the Goddess of Nature, who is depicted as a bear in art and lore.

Aeval: Goddess of hunting and creativity. Wild and untamable spirit. Is said to be the source of passion for artists and musicians. Is the sister of Ganymede, the God’s servant. Myrrh created her from stardust to be a servant, however once Myrrh discovered Aeval’s unbridled fervor for life she freed her so that she might be a source of inspiration to all of Boreal. Depicted as hunter wearing furs and carrying a bow. Rules over The Hunter birthsign.

Artio: Goddess of nature. Daughter of Myrrh and Ra. Mother of Relic, Ruin and Rayna. Often depicted in art and legend as a bear. Rules over The Bear birthsign.
